Accidents

RED VERSUS WHITE
One day, Arnold's grandma was walking back from a mini powwow at the Spokane Tribal Community Center, she was killed by a drunk driver but at the moment she didn't die because the reservation paramedics kept her alive long enough to get to the hospital in Spokane, unfurtunately Arnold's grandma dies during in a emergency surgery  (pp. 129).

The irony of all this is that Arnold's grandma never drank a single drop of alchohol in her entire life, but unfortunately many Native Americans always have family problems and even in their work they have problems and that is why they always drink alcohol and when they are really drunk they take their cars and drive, thus causing the death of many innocents and even with their own life.

VALENTINE HEART

Another accident was when Eugine (the best friend of Arnold's dad) was drinking with one of his friend, Eugine was shot in the face in the parking lot of a 7-eleven in Spokane.
Eugine was shoted and killed by one of his good friends, Bobby, who was too drunk to even remember pulling the trigger, the police think Eugine and Bobby fought over the last drink in a bottle of wine. When Bobby was sober enough to realize what he had done, he could only calls Eugene's name over and over, Bobby was sent to jail and weeks later he bung himself with a bed-sheet (pp.139).

And this is how many Native Americans die from alcohol, since they have problems or simply because they want to have fun drinking, but as we can see alcohol does not lead to anything good, just regretings, and that's why I ask to you, is it worth living drunk all your life, thinking about all the bad things you could do while you're drunk, or would you do something to change that mentality and start to do good things without drinking alcohol?

I invite you to read a little more about what alcoholism is and the effects and illnesses that it can cause, just click in the link below or watch the video.
